Hyatt Regency Disaster
[edit]The current text describes the Hyatt Regency disaster as the worst in US history other than 9/11. This is absurd. The Hyatt skywalks collapsed in a scenario that was entirely within the design parameters for that building, and was due to epic incompetence. The World Trade towers collapsed because two jets were flown into them, which was outside of the design parameters. The Hyatt skywalk collapse remains the worst architectural disaster in US history, and should be identified that way.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.160.131.93 (talk) 20:56, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- The actual line used in the article is that it is the deadliest structural collapse in US history aside from 9/11. It does not speak to the cause of the structural collapse. CensoredBiscuit (talk) 05:48, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
Interactive Map
[edit]In the side panel of this page, there is an "interactive map" of outlining the borders of KCMO. Its a nice feature the only problem is that it includes in the within the boundary of KCMO, North Kansas City, Birmingham and Gladstone which are distinct municipalities not part of Kansas City. The economy section notes:
One of the largest US drug manufacturing plants is the Sanofi-Aventis plant in south Kansas City on a campus developed by Ewing Kauffman's Marion Laboratories.
This is incorrect, the plant has been closed down for nearly a decade.
This section should be updated to reflect this.

Change "Jonathan Duncan" to "Johnathan Duncan" 136.37.31.220 (talk) 20:55, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: no reason given for the proposed change. M.Bitton (talk) 21:05, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
- The reason is that "Jonathan" is a misspelling of his name. It's spelled "Johnathan".
